* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The workload was very manageable. There was an average of 2 large papers per module that were due at a very decent time gap between the two. The grading system was different because they start at lower numbers than we do.

The host country was amazing and very helpful.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

there were a few times when the food could not be eaten becasue it was pork, but there are always vegetarian options.

The Queen came to begin her Diamond Jubilee tour.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

The city of Leicester is very safe. Not once was I afraid to go out or anything.

  • The people in the country were amazing.
* What could be improved?
  • Tell students to bring money that has already been exchanged into local currency.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Always bring money from home with you in case of emergency and try to have some money from the country you are going to with you since you will begin using it right away. Go in with an open mind.
