Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I learned so much about irish culture while in class. The teachers are very willing to help you comprehend the material the best way you can. The grading system is much easier than in America. To receive an A in America you only need to pass with a 70% in Ireland.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The apartment style dorms are amazing at the University of Limerick! You have your own bedroom and bathroom but you still have roommates =]. You also have a kitchen and sitting area. The campus was beautiful and so was the view from the balcony of the apartments! We had a 10 minute walk to class or the bus to town pertaining to night life. Sheets comforters and pillows were provided along with having your apartment cleaned daily and new towels provided every other day. Everything was over the top!

* Food:

So much food! I hope you like chips!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Jameson Distillary.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? about 200 euros
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? When I booked a hostel for me and a group of friends I was required to put down a 200 euro deposit on my credit card but it's only a pre-authorization so I was never charged for it. Other than that nothing was unanticipated
