By Anthony DiVirgilio (Salem State University) - abroad from 07/22/2017 to 08/12/2017 with

It was definitely worthwhile as I met lifelong friends, had my first experience traveling out of the U.S., had fun, and learned a lot about myself as a person. It was truly a life changing experience!

Comments: | Students were always active in class with intriguing discussions and group work/presentations. Work outside of class was very well structured as it utilized an array of different medias such as texts, movies, poems, comic books, songs, novels, etc. that would then be used for the basis of class discussion and activities. Final was also structured very fairly with an option of a discussion based oral exam on thesis statements students formed prior to the exam or essay. This class is structured the way a class should be. |
