Metropolitan Past Review
By A student (Geography and Cartography., The University of Texas at Austin) - abroad from 07/12/2012 to 01/19/2013 with
University of Melbourne: Melbourne - Direct Enrollment & Exchange
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Australia is not necessarily so different from any other anglo-saxon culture, but Australians still has a reputation for being more laid-back and relaxed than Americans, something my hands-on experience can now verify. Adapting was easy as living is extremely easy in Australia, despite the price levels. It was definitely worth while.
