Many students just came on this program because their school required a study abroad component... studying abroad should only be for those who want to do it.

Typically - Cypriots don't care about courses as much as Americans do. Professors make classes super easy with almost no work.

Did have to go to doctor's once... they hardly spoke English. It was a real challenge communicating my issues.

Safer than my hometown.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Try not to eat out a lot... the produce at the grocery store is really inexpensive.

  • Do not place SIE students to live with eachother, they are together all the time!
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Cypriots are very very reserved and don't care much about academcis
