What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a sense of independence during my time away but I didn't get to interact with locals as much as I would have like to. I loved the opportunities I had to travel while I was there.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Now I know how to live on my own and take care of myself. I also learned a lot about the Muslim culture and how to look at the world from other perspectives
