I enjoyed my time for the most part. I really liked the location of the university and the apartments.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

The conversion between usd and euro takes a toll very quickly. Taxis are expensive, but buses are a lot longer but cheaper.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $100-$200
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Make breakfast lunch and dinner at home at least 5 times a week. Going out to eat is a pain in the wallet. Don't plan trips with people who don't want to do the same things as you... you'll end up spending money on tourist attractions you don't want to see, and lose a lot of quality travel time.

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? No
How much did the program encourage you to use the language?

0 = No encouragement, 5 = frequent encouragement to use the language
