Cool Past Review
By A student (Susquehanna University) - abroad from 01/18/2018 to 05/26/2018 with
University of Nicosia - Global Semesters: Nicosia - Semester in Cyprus
I gained so much knowledge about myself and I reconciled with a lot of my flaws and things that were holding me back in America. Also, I gained a lot of knowledge about different cultures. The best thing was being able to mix culture with my academics. I’ve learned a lot about Cypriotic culture and Greek culture during class. It was definitely worthwhile.

* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The mattresses in Dinos 301 were extremely flat and tissue-like. Every other housing unit and apartment numbers inside of Dinos had ACTUAL mattresses except for Dinos 301. This problem needs to be fixed for future students. Also, there was a month long of construction being done on our balcony. We received no knowledge of it and the workers were loud every morning for an entire month. |

The Academic or LinguistYou went abroad with specific academic goals in mind; the program credentials and rigor of your coursework abroad were very important to you. You had a great time abroad, but never lost sight of your studies and (if applicable) were diligent with your foreign language study. Good for you! |
