University of Nicosia - Global Semesters: Nicosia - Semester in Cyprus
Choose wisely before you select where you want to study abroad. Read lots of reviews. Do your own research. In my experience, I learned how to room with more than one other person. I also got more confident with taking public transportation.

The biggest problem I had with the semester in Cyprus program was the lack of activities provided by the University of Nicosia and the absence of activities within Nicosia itself. Not only did I feel it was very difficult to be "immersed" in the culture, but I had a hard time finding much to do in Cyprus without leaving Nicosia and taking a day trip to a different city. Nicosia is business city. And unfortunately that's where the program is offered. I'm willing to admit that I may have just been unaware of a lot of opportunities within the city, but even then It was not properly advertised or brought to my attention. |
