I learned a lot about different types of people and what makes everyone so unique in their own culture. I also gained a lot of experience communicating with and listening to people of different countries and cultures. Traveling and being immersed in culture is the best way to learn a lot about the world we live in!

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Professors and students frequently showed up late to class, if at all, and expectations were usually very unclear. Definitely not the educational experience I'm used to having at my home school. |

Administration was very helpful during my time abroad. The only thing I would suggest is getting the spring break itinerary out a lot sooner, because it was hard to plan free time with only a two week's notice of our itinerary. |

Our apartment was beautiful and very comfortable. I couldn't have asked for better living arrangements. |

No
Cyprus was not my first choice. I was actually supposed to go to South Africa to study abroad and two months before my departure, had to change programs and Cyprus was one of a few left available. I would probably not go back for a semester because the island is so small and it's rather expensive to get to a lot of different countries. However, I really did enjoy my time while there. |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | I wish I knew how small the island was and that there isn't much to see in Cyprus itself that the program already takes you on. I also wish I had made more of an effort to form more relationships with locals while there. |
