Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
courses are especially easy, wasn't challenged much this semester. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Does not cater much to help students. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Minus the bugs in the apartment, it held up quite well. There is mold on the bathroom ceiling. |
* Food: |
Food around here is good, but the same places get tiring after a while. Other food places are a long walking distance |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I felt like I hung around the people in the Global Semesters program more than with other people. Theyre still great people, just not much chance/opportunities around here for interacting with local culture |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
lame |
* Safety: |
nothing ever happens here |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
No
This place was nice but it gets boring after a while, I would go somewhere else. |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
its hard to not spend money :( |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | $100-200 |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | the bus is cheap, taxis rip you off.. cooking sucks but it saves money |

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Nearly Native or Trail BlazerCraving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.' |

Comments: | Gave a narrow view of terrorism and occasionally cited unfactual information. Focused too much on certain terrorists groups and did not give a wide variety of different terrorist groups. Narrow definition of terrorism and who terrorists are. Lack of understanding for Islamic religion and conditions for what makes people terrorists |
