Ireland is relaxing and there is so much to see in London. Past Review

University of Northern Iowa: Capstone in England and Ireland
It was worthwhile for the traveling experience more than the class. Dr. Kashef is a great teacher, it's just that there was more to see in a tourist sense than to learn about the environment.

The strengths was that it was a good group of people and we could customize the trip and break into groups so that we could see other things that we wanted to see. The day we mixed with the Scotland group wasn't like that because their leader didn't want to deviate from her plan, so those days weren't fun and had two trips that weren't really worth the time. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The hostels in Ireland were great, but the one in London was awful. There weren't enough towels ever, and our group didn't know that they claim they don't always provide them. Our room was awful, with poor ventilation (it had JUST been painted) and had no floor. The bathrooms didn't have towels or paper towels in them, and sometimes not soap. The kitchen was also unsanitary, as there were ants crawling around. |
