London, Dublin, Cork: best experience ever! Past Review
By Amanda D (Finance and Real Estate, University of Northern Iowa) for
University of Northern Iowa: Capstone in England and Ireland
Yes. I learned a lot, especially about having an open mind and wanting to try and experience new things. I wish I did not graduate so I could go abroad again.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
This capstone trip was somethineg that could not be learned in the the classroom. Being able to go to another country and actually see and experience things first hand was amazing. |

* Housing:

Living in a hostel was an eye opening experience. You are in such a small space with a lot of people. But you also get to meet so many different people who are also traveling and listen to their stories and where they are going. |
* Food: |
We had plenty of time for dinners in the evening but we always seemed like we were rushed for lunch. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
One of the highlights of Ireland was getting to see the Queen of England! All other places we visited were the big attractions that we all enjoyed getting to see. |
* Health Care:

|
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|

A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | This program is perfect for students who have never gone out of the country and are unsure about how long they would be able to be away. 2 weeks was a perfect amount. You keep busy and have a lot to do and see but yet you are back home in no time. It's a great way to determine if you would be able to go on another trip for a longer period of time. |
