What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
In order to feel as if you are participating in your host countries traditions while studying abroad I would suggest going on a longer study abroad experience where there is more opportunity to become immersed in the culture.

Not much opportunity to get to know locals since we were staying in hostels and constantly traveling.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? For a capstone study abroad it's a good idea to have at least one of your friends go on the trip with you.
