The purpose of this course is to analyze the literary and artistic depictions of San Juan through the literary work of the most outstanding writers of Puerto Rico. Through lectures in combination with discussion sessions, and guided tours to museums and historical sites, students will explore the history, architecture, socio-political development, cultural life and literary representations of San Juan
