By Julia B (Social Work, University of Northern Iowa) for
University of Northern Iowa: Traveling - UNI Capstone in London and Paris
I gained a lot of new qualities that I didn't know I had. I am really good at making sucky situations better, as well as finding my way around citys. I was never good at using maps but now I can successfully use a map!

The places we visited were really interesting and exciting, and it was not a problem for us to get our tickets at most of these places. Although we did have a few setbacks here and there, but it was hard to get things done quickly with 20 students. Overall my expectations were met, and I had a great time on the trip! |

It was easier to meet new people while staying in London. The hostel was not as nice as the Paris hostel, but it definitely offered a more family feel, and made it easier to talk to the other people living there. The hostel in Paris was really nice, but at times I felt like I was living in a hotel. It was very large. The locations for both places were awesome! There was a lot to do if you went out and found it. |
