I became more independent due to my program. I also gained great knowledge of my host country and actually plan to go back there for graduate school.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? plan for travel expenses, not just plane but local bus travel! and also plan for going out at night, cover charges for clubs etc.
