unmatchable chill semester but stressfull exam period Past Review

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
definitely worthwhile realized life outside middlebury and how real life is because at midd you can forget you are in a bubble. i needed a university like notts because credits transferred back for my major but if i didnt need that i would pick something that allows more independant study and more exotic places though at least it didnt feel like a complete waste of time or vacation

i would have liked to be housed with 3rd years not first years and in a place where i could cook for myself instead of catered to live the experience

great system of giving you 5 pounds a day to use in any restaurant or coffee shop on campus for lunch

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Course Department: psychology
Instructor: professor Martin H.
Instruction Language: english
Comments: it was really hard because their 3 level students have excellent background knowledge of each subject since it is all they study for three years while the 1st year classes are really easy in comparison. teacher was excellent and obviously knew his stuff but had a heavy german accent. no participation because that is not how lectures work there are so many students that you just sit and listen. assessed 100% on final exam.
Credit Transfer Issues: no issues
