Incompetent administration Past Review
By A student (Middlebury College) - abroad from 09/23/2019 to 01/25/2020 with
University of Nottingham: Nottingham - Direct Enrollment & Exchange
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
This experience taught me that I’m more resilient than I thought and that I can roll with many, many punches. It was transformative, but not in the ways I had expected or hoped for. I return with a newfound appreciation for the US and for Middlebury.

A Look Back
* What did you like most about the program? |
|
* What could be improved? |
|
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | I wish I knew which classes I was allowed to take! The administration allowed me to sign up for a class that they later removed me from in week 4. I had checked with multiple people to see if I could take this class, and after having them affirm that I could take the class, I signed up. I had to last-minute sign up for another class, which wasn't ideal since I was 4 weeks behind in that new class. I also wish I knew that the administration doesn't care about students. I was arbitrarily removed from my room on the same day I was removed my class. The security that I associated with a competent school had been yanked from me, and I no longer trusted this university. |
