New Zealand rules. Past Review
By A student (Philosophy., Middlebury College) - abroad from 02/12/2012 to 07/09/2012 with
University of Otago, New Zealand: Study Abroad Programme
I learned how to live on my own for the first time, and I saw/did things that I will never see or do again. Worthwhile is an understatement.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Not nearly as hard as Middlebury, but decent professors and facilities. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Great location, good people. Overall, a lot of fun. |
* Food: |
Cooked for myself. Food is generally more expensive in New Zealand than in the states. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:

The lack of language barrier helps. A lot. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I was injured playing soccer and I only had to pay a $5 surcharge to see the physio. Go national healthcare! |
* Safety: |
I never felt unsafe, but there was broken glass all over the neighborhood, and a jacket was stolen off of my laundry line. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|

Things are just generally more expensive in New Zealand. |
