my kiwi host was great - helped us find our way around campus, advised us on classes, etc. host program was usually responsive to requests/concerns about our flat. they hosted some social gatherings for international students. |

stayed in a 6 person flat. got pretty cold in winter because of bad insulation. |

cooked for myself. food can be a bit expensive. |

pretty similar culture to the U.S. |

required insurance is around $200. student healthcare covered by insurance. much better than the U.S. |

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
