South Island Adventures Past Review
By A student (Middlebury College) - abroad from 02/20/2017 to 06/22/2017 with
University of Otago, New Zealand: Study Abroad Programme
I loved being able to explore the South Island - it is unbelievably beautiful. The people I met along the way were great. Being at a larger university was also valuable. I felt that I was able to focus my time/attention on subject material that I was interested in.

* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I lived in a flat with 3 other students from the US and 1 student from New Zealand (also called a "Kiwi Host"). I loved having a Kiwi Host and my time in NZ wouldn't have been the same without her. |

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |

Comments: | I was really looking forward to this class, but I was disappointed. The class was taught by multiple lecturers and it was very unorganized. The tutorials were very painful to sit through and I didn't feel that my tutorial instructor was very knowledgeable in the subject material. |
