Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Their teaching method makes more sense than my home institution. Everything was integrated and organized incredibly well. I had never seen anything like it.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

I loved it tons. They had housing worked out very well. They made you feel like you had everything you needed to live and be safe. As well they have things organized for you to have fun.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The housing was cold, wet, and damp. I don't really complain so it did not bother me much. My roommate was sick the whole time because of the black mold though.

* Food:

I loved the food!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I hooked up with my church over there and made tons and tons of friends. We went surfing, hiked, camped together. I went on dates and loved the people tons. I could not have asked for a better time.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

The house was in bad shape as i said before. You can deal with it though.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Not really. It was expensive, but all worth it.

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
