What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My experience abroad was definitely worthwhile. I would recommend this trip to anyone, even if you have the slightest interest in China. If you want to go to China just to see it once, you will see it once and want to go back.

It was pretty amazing to connect what we had learned in the class to actual experiences!

All of the hotels were absolutely amazing! Our stay in Suzhou was especially wonderful.

Everything about the trip was wonderful. Our program leaders made it easy to do everything in China. From explaining what the different types of dishes were at dinner, to explaining the the subway system in Shanghai, each leader was wonderful. We had just the right amount of fun time and work time!

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
