i learned how to live on a budget and i gained numerous friends that i never would have had the chance to meet if i didnt study abroad. it was all worthwile

one of the best things about studying here is i became great friends with all the british people on my "flat"

the U.S. dollar is worth a lot less than the British pound while I was over there which meant everything was more expensive than things in the U.S.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? shop the discounted items and sales at the grocery store for food. when planning trips, do plenty of research for travel/housing because there are cheaper options available if you research enough
