Study Abroad in Salamanca Past Review

University of Salamanca: Salamanca - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Definitely! It was a real awakening. I did miss the constitution and all the freedoms that I have here in the USA, but learning and living abroad was an awesome experience that every student should try.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Salamanca is a magnificent city. Talk about walking through a history book. It has so much culture, history, and some of the sweetest people in Europe. The professors were excellent, the university staff was pleasant, and although we were in a separate facility specialized for international student, the grounds were nice and cozy. I will admit that Spain is completely different than the United States and sometimes can be a little scary especially in the larger cities like Madrid, but with proper preparation I would recommend it to anyone.
