Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

This trip was so worthwhile. The friendships I made in Spain are still continuing to grow back in the States. The teachers were wonderful and we had a blast. It was so important for me to grow and accomplish so much more than just learning Spanish.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

This program has smart enthusiastic teachers that make learning way better than just sitting in a classroom.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived with 2 different families. They were both extremely helpful and supportive. I loved them both and really enjoyed living with a family. It allowed me to understand the day to day living in Spain better.

My roommate orginally and I didn't get along but in my second house I had my own room. It was wonderful.

* Food:

There was a lot of soup - more varity would be nice but it was all delicious!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

We had a great time outside of class!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

We had a clinic easily aviable for us in case we got sick. I never had to utilize this facility. I felt safe for the msot part. Walking at night was slightly unsettling but we were never really in danger.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Only buy things that are unique to Spain. There are a lot of things that you can find in the States too - for cheeper!

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? Intermediate
Language acquisition improvement?
