Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

i was able to share the cookware with my flatmates, and i did not need sheets or anything. i bought a plate and a bowl when the semester started so that i didn't have to use all of my flatmates things, though they didn't mind sharing.

* Food:

the co-op on campus had plenty of food, and if they didn't have something i wanted to cook with then tesco was just a few bus stops away.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

healthcare was easily accessible and wonderful b/c it was the NHS which is so nice.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? too much! haha. i spent about 50 pounds per week, sometimes more sometimes less, depending on how much i drank/went out.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? be prepared when flying ryan air or easyjet. they have lots of hidden costs.
