Studying abroad helped open my eyes to other parts of the world. While I studying in England, I was able to backpack around Europe for a month, seeing many countries, learning all about their culture, people and history. Going abroad was an amazing experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The school system in England is drastically different than that of the U.S. and I feel we were not fully prepared. There is far more independent work, less grades, and the grading system is completely different. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Clark made it clear that living in a foreign country would be a big change, but did not well inform us of how different the school system would be. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
the dorms were pretty standard, though the kitchens were shared among the students on that floor and were thus always very messy. |
* Food: |
Food in England is much different and takes some getting used to, but that's all part of the experience |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I met tons of great people from all over the world. The school provided multiple social outings including pub-hops and outings to London and other areas of the U.K. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |

A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Going abroad was one of the best experiences of my entire life. While I wasn't a fan of the school itself, going abroad is not just about going to class. I got to travel around Europe and meet people from around the world, an experience I will never forget. |
