I learned to be more independent because I had to figure it out by myself. The experience was worthwhile and I would love to be able to do it all over again

I believe that the University of Sydney was a very rewarding experience that was different to what I have encountered at Tulane. It was not as intense as I was expecting due to a larger class size |

The administration was very knowledgeable and always available if I had any problems. They were some of the most competent administration staff that I had ever worked with. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
This is based on Tulane's lack of handling our housing situation. They could have made it a bit easier for us to attain on-campus housing instead of making us complete every little thing ourselves |

I made my own meals in my share house and overall the food was very close to American cuisine |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I lived in a share house with 3 Australians and felt very integrated into Australian society. I learned slang and hung out with Australians that weren't just students |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I went to the doctors when I was sick and it was very easy to see a doctor |

Sydney was one of the safest places I have ever been to. I was never once scared of being alone while out at night. |
