Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Did not expect to pay for internet initially while in Australia. I also did not eat out much, since everything in Sydney is very expensive. I did not expect to pay for train transportation to and from my internship, which was almost $10 everyday for an unpaid position. I wish Tulane gave us "student concession" which all international exchange students had, which gave students a discount on travel expenses. Tulane's Sydney program is by definition an exchange program, but called themselves study abroad, therefore we did not have concession prices. |
