* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The people were great but the building has a lot of flaws. Fire alarms went off ALL the time. We also had an evacuation that lasted at least 2 nights, housing wasn't organized nor did we have a place to sleep for the first night. Also, the internet in Yura Mudang is the absolute worst. Curfew was also silly, both for drinking in the common areas and for getting into the building late at night. |

* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
|
* Health Care:

Injured my foot while abroad, fast forward 6 months later and I STILL haven't received compensation for the medical fees I had to pay while over there. |
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Australia is one of the most expensive countries in the world. |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Depends on how much of a social life you want to have. Going to clubs/bars costs a lot, especially when there's also a cover fee to get in. |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Save up before studying abroad and if possible, find a flexible job (such as babysitting) once over there. |

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | How much money it actually cost to be over there and to do all the things I did (I didn't even get to do everything I wanted to due to time and money). And also about how much I didn't want to leave at the end of it. |
