About
A team of 8 UT Austin undergraduates and 8 UNAM students will work closely with a cross-disciplinary team from Geosciences, Geophysics, and Computing Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) and at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). These teams will take part in a new and innovative exchange program that will be imbedded in a 6-credit summer course scheduled during the whole summer term at UT Austin.
The course will use a mixed set of engagement and interaction approaches, including online video seminars, classroom discussion, one week of field work in the Texas Hill Country region, and two weeks of field work in the Central Mexican Altiplano. Partial scholarships will be awarded to all 8 UT Austin student participants, and full scholarships to all 8 UNAM students.
