Santander is set on a tranquil bay with a pleasant climate. During this six week program (first or second session), or 12 week program (both sessions), students take 6 credits per session: 1) 6 credits of Intermediate or Upper Division Spanish; Classes are taught either by UT professors or professors from the University of Cantabria. Located in the heart of Santander, Spain, the University is walking distance from the main boulevard and beach. Students live with local home-stays to practice their Spanish and gain insight into Spanish culture. This program aims to improve students' knowledge of the Spanish language, including the ability to speak correctly and effectively outside the classroom, and integrate students as much a possible in the local culture.
