The course will examine the history of urban planning and design in Paris, France, from Antiquity to the present through a series of lectures and on-site visits to the extant elements of its various plans and architecture. Students will be staying in the 12th arrondissement, half a block from the Gare de Lyon and close to many significant urban educational resources.
