Best experience in my life so far. Past Review
By A student (University of Hartford) - abroad from 10/01/2018 to 12/07/2018 with
University of the Arts London - Integrated Study Abroad
I learned so many new things about my major that I never would've thought I would learn, and I would love to go back for at least a full school year and learn even more.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
A great experience overall, nothing to complain about! |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
All faculty were very helpful, I felt confident in their answers when I had a question. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
It was a great flat, but there were many things wrong with it. There was black mold on top of the showers and a leak in the walls of my room. |
* Food: |
The food was overall good, you need to bring your own seasonings and things like that to make the flavor you want it, food tastes WAYY different in the UK. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I felt very welcomed with the British students in my classes and in the studios, everyone wanted to help me and I made a lot of close new friends. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I personally did not have to seek medical attention, but my roommate did and she had some trouble getting the medication she needed in a timely manner. |
* Safety: |
I felt pretty safe in the city. Remember to watch your back and your belongings, and look both ways before crossing the street! |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
I fell in love with the school right away, and I felt so welcomed. It was like home away from home. |
