Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Start saving early!! Be very frugal when you spend money abroad. If you don't need it, don't buy it! Also, be aware of the money exchange rate. It fluctuates every day to every week so always being conscious of the rate will help you determine whether you should buy things or not or whether or not the price is a good deal.

There was constant use of Spanish Language. No English was ever spoken in the home or in the classroom.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Keep course notes from foreign language classes and take them with you. Take notes in the target language. Use the foreign language even with your classmates who speak English. It is easier to develop and advance language skills if continuously speaking the target language each day.
