The trip to Cabrera. It was the most amazing experience. Swimming in a cave, being able to see underwater thirty meters or more, and hiking through the natural reserve were all moments i'll never forget.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 50 euros. I ate a lot of meals at my host family house. He was an awesome cook, so I had no problems with only eating out every once in a while.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Don't bring around all your money. It's not safe first and foremost, and you will spend more with the more money you have.

What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? Advanced Spanish I
Language acquisition improvement?

I was able to talk to people of all different languages, sometimes speaking in English, but more frequently in Spanish. It helped improve my confidence in speaking in a foreign language, with less fear of making mistakes.
