Course Objectives:
- Demonstrate the Ability to measure the sustainability of both traditional and alternative energy resources
- Communicate an understanding of the physical phenomena important to different alternative energy technologies, and relate these effects on the technology’s energy production
- Compare the viability of alternative energy resources with one another and with fossil fuels, using metrics such as site selection, operational efficiency, economics, and scalability .
-Design renewable energy portfolios, taking into account country and/or regional specific conditions.
