What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was a transformative experience, and one in which I got to meet the most amazing friends imaginable from all around the world. I starting to learn a new language, one that I will be able to continue using back home. It also allowed me to view my studies and future in a new light.

I met such amazing people, and had such a great time that I would not want to exchange my experience for anywhere else.

Finances

Extraordinarily affordable. Food is cheaper than the US, and you can walk almost everywhere.

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
