Felt very safe in the area we stayed in great proximity to night life while in Negril, but also wonderful solitude in Treasure Beach. |

The food and the service was amazing. Lot of options each night. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Loved the social and cultural aspects of this trip. I made so many wonderful friends in Jamaica and came home with a 6 yr old pen pal. I learned how to play ludi, the drums, dominoes and learned how to Jamaican dance a little bit. The Shane Drummers were amazing and the day spent at the falls was also very fun. I really enjoyed spending time with the children on the work sites as well. |

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | $150 |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Bring more than you think you need. You can always bring some back with you.
