Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
|
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
My expectations were met! Professor was very helpful and knowleadgable about the different places we stayed. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Housing everywhere was very nice. Housing in London was the best-kitchens helped us save a lot of money on eating out every meal. |
* Food: |
I am a vegetarian so finding places with meatless food was sometimes a difficulty. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
London bus tour, Cannes bus tour |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
Be careful when crossing streets!! They DO NOT stop for pedestrians, met another group in Scotland who had a student get hit by a car in London and was in a coma in the hospital. Do not travel alone EVER (mostly for girls!). |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Over $200 at least. Very expensive there, eating out every meal gets very spendy. |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | You will shop more than you expected to and you will spend way more money on food. |
Language
How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? | None |

A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Retail students would benefit most. DO NOT pack as much as you think you need!! Pack extremely lightly, you will shop and you also have to carry your luggage! |
