What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Super worthwhile, gained a lot of knowledge about Eastern Europe and also learned a lot about how I can be independent and navigate a foreign country.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

What was expected was clearly outlined-- course work was explained well and of appropriate difficulty. Exam week rigor was definitely more intense than overall semester, but expected. Resources available and helpful.

No meal plan but expected. Meals are cheap if you know where to go!

Something I really appreciated was how we were introduced to the whole program-- the week-long orientation was super, super helpful. I loved all of the UCPES people.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Buy/share groceries-- do not get caught by tourist traps, because there are very, very cheap restaurants here.

Comprehending the Holocaust

Comments: This is a must-take class-- challenging in a great way-- to think about the Holocaust in a way one never would get the chance to otherwise.

Elementary Czech

Comments: Loved having Czech-- it is taught super early, but it really teaches you about Czech culture and how to integrate. It is super interactive and I love that it is required.
