I learned so much about the fascinating history of the Czech Republic being behind the Iron curtain and under a communist regime.

We stayed in a beautiful and spacious apartment, which was only a 5 minute walk from the city square.

* Food:

The food is amazing and much more affordable than other countries. If you enjoy eating meat then this is the place for you!

* Safety:

I felt safer in Prague than in any American city.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Prague is an enchanting city that is not as popular in the US. It is centrally located in Europe, so travel is relatively easy. The food is great, people are friendly, public transportation is efficient and the history is amazing.

Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'
