What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned to be more understanding of different backgrouns. I became a more well-rounded person, and matured a lot. I plan to travel in the future, and due to the program I added another course of study back at ISU which I think I will really love.

The workload was very managable and the professors were very fair.

The program had us work together in different groups the entire semester which I would say was a strength and wakness of the program

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I probably spent about $100 a week not including traveling
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? There were no unexpected expenses, but learn to budget, remember you'll be there a long time, you don't have to buy and try everything in the first week

What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? I had never taken a Swedish language course before

Most people spoke English if you spoke it to them, it was nice to know a little Swedish though
