yes

Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? 0-2 weeks

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

There was too much homework, and not enough repetition to really make all the information stick. I learned a lot, but it was hard to understand sometimes because there was not enough clarification.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

I've already answered this above

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

I don't like pork, which is the main food here. Also most foods lack flavor but the fruit was amazing.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I don't want to talk about it.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Bilbao is very safe.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? You will never have enough money to do all you want.

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? Yes
How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? elementary
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?

Language acquisition improvement?

I needed to use it with my host family, in town, and in class. However, because the program keeps us together in a lot of situations sometimes I felt like I couldn't get away from people that didn't want to speak Spanish.
