I gained knowledge about the UK as well as some other countries in Europe that I visited on spring break. I gained the experience of travelling as an adult, making my own choices, going to countries and not knowing the language. I learned how to travel with the metro, trains, buses, coaches, etc. I am used to driving around in my car to get places usually, so it was refreshing to try all the different modes of transportation that many people in the world rely on.

The classes offered were interesting and manageable. The professors were flexible and understanding of international students, and made class really interesting. |

Our Program leaders made everything so much less stressful! They helped us out with many things, from scheduling courses to telling us where the best places to buy cute outfits were! |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The housing was great. It had the privacy of a personal bathroom and shower, but allowed us to interact with roommates in the communal common room. The housing is set up very nicely. |

There were many cultural foods to try in England, like pasties and Yorkshire pudding. Trying new foods is a great experience, and with England being close to the rest of Europe, it was easy to try exotic European foods! |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I felt very integrated with the local culture in Brighton, I had many chances to walk about in town and experience everyday life as a Brightonian. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I did not have experience with healthcare abroad, but I was well informed of contact information and addresses of clinics in case of need. |

I think Brighton, England is a pretty safe city to walk around and explore, even at night. |

The conversion rate was expensive for US Dollars to England's pound, so it was tough not to spend more than expected. |
