What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Being in China, which is proving to be a a big contender in the world market, has helped me understand the impact international relationships have on everyone economically, socially,religiously, etc. It has also helped me recognize myself has a world citizen and not just an American citizen.

I practiced language with a language partner and everyday interactions. Not a lot of natives spoke English. I used the host country language to perform regular daily tasks. |
