it was fantastic. the only downers were some of the american students i was with and the marginal bathroom and kitchen facilities.

in addition to being the theatre instructor, ellie yannas was also the resident director. i couldn't have asked for a better person to be in charge. she was a darlin`!

viewing the plays: the seagull, richard iii. taking a day drip to brighton. riding the london millenium eye at sunset.

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? i'm not entirely sure, but it was more than i expected. food is pricey in london.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? public transportation-- i spent at least 200 dollars on the london underground over the course of a month.
