Understand French culture much better now and can't wait to come back. Rehana L - University of the Pacific View Entire Review

Yes!! I learned how to take care of my own loans and financing, I became more confident in speaking French and with new people in general, I made tons of great friends, and I learned how to overcome obstacles in my life. I always loved European history but the language was never something I loved or thought I could speak until I... Jenna L - University of North Dakota View Entire Review

It's been two years since I studied in Pau and it still feels like yesterday. I met some great people there, two of which I traveled around Europe with again after graduation. I added an international business focus to my major upon returning from abroad, and I am still actively learning French! :) AA B - California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo View Entire Review
It wasn't USAC I didn't like. I just don't really get along well with the French people overall. Studying abroad fufilled all my stereotypes instead of banishing them. I was happy to come home and I would love to go back and visit France, but I would never live there again (unless I lived in Paris). A student View Entire Review

YES IT WAS! I hope I could turn back time and do it all over again! Shirley C - University of the Pacific View Entire Review
First of all, it improved my language capabilities tremendously. Secondly, it forced me out of my comfort zone and into a new world. This was uncomfortable and a little shocking at first, but I kept an open mind, a positive attitude and discussed my feelings with other students. It's important to remember that everyone is exper... My study abroad program was very worthwhile. I am now aware of how another country lives and what they value in their life, which is different than what we value, in the US. I gained a positive knowledge about a group of people that have a negative light in the US. They were very nice and helpful with me. My French language ...
